US Robotics X2 Disconnect Fix

Here is a fix that we have come across for Windows 95:

Step 1:    Click On Your Start Menu Then On Settings Then On Control Panel.

Step 2:    Double Click On The Modems Icon In The Control Panel Window.

Step 3:    Click On The Modem That Is Having The Problems Of Disconnects
(Usually The Only One Listed) Then Click On Properties.
NOTE: Your Modem May Be Called Something Else
ex. Sportster 56k Instead Of 28.8 External Modem.

Step 4:    Click On The Tab At The Top Labeled Connection.

Step 5:    Click On The Button Towards The Bottom Labeled Advanced.

Step 6:    Enter The String "&F1&D0S15=128S32=34" Without Quotes
Into The Text Box Entitled Extra Settings.

Step 7:    Reboot Your Machine. By Clicking On [Start] [Shutdown] [Restart The Computer]
